To get your Texas real estate license, you must meet the eligibility standards set by the Texas Real Estate Commission(TREC):
- Be 18 years or older.
- Hold U.S. citizenship or lawful non-citizen status.
- Uphold TREC’s standards of honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity
The first big step to getting your license is picking top-notch real estate education to complete 180 hours of pre-licensing courses. License Classroom has you covered with 100% online courses, making learning interactive and fun to provide the foundation for success in your career. Next, it’s time to submit your application to TREC, get a background check, and pass the real estate licensing exam with a score of 70% or higher.
